What Diane treats
Neurovascular assessment
Carried out at every first visit to check blood flow and sensation in the feet, including signs of peripheral neuropathy.
Cracked heels and fissures
Dry skin that splits can reach the dermis, become painful and open a path to infection. Treatment reduces hard skin and protects the area.
Corns and calluses
Callus builds from friction. Corns form from prolonged pressure on one spot. Both can be reduced and padded so walking is more comfortable.
Ingrown toenails
When the nail grows into the sulcus it can cause pain, hypergranulation and infection. Careful reduction and advice help the nail grow clear.
Athlete’s foot
A common fungal infection linked to damp footwear and moisture between the toes. It can itch, or show almost no symptoms at all.
Hammer, claw and mallet toes
Toes that stay bent forward rub on shoes. Padding, dressings and custom otoform orthotics can ease the pressure.
Verruca
Caused by HPV and often picked up in swimming pools or gyms. They can hurt when they sit on a pressure point of the foot.
Bunions
A bony lump at the side of the foot from a change in the big toe joint. Dressings, padding and otoform orthotics can reduce discomfort.
Dressings
Dressings can be changed after surgery or other procedures, using a hygienic home-visit setup.
Diabetic foot care
Diabetes raises the risk of slower healing and foot ulcers. Regular checks and clear advice help keep the feet healthy.
Fungal nails and foot infections
Many conditions affect the nail and skin. The right treatment and home-care advice keep the feet in better condition.
Nail care
Toenail cutting and reduction for nails that are thick, awkward or difficult to reach, including for people with reduced mobility.
